Consider the towel thrown and the white flag hoisted.

I've given up on timely updates to this faction of the blog-o-sphere. It appears a million-bobillion things coagulated at once, making real world congestion a bit more viscous than my "pivotal" virtual reporting. That being said, it is now 3 am and I still have some things to work on that I've been putting off for a dear friend of mine. No news tonight, just a note to encourage everyone to donate money to Haiti and have a Faye Dunaway movie marathon in the very near future. Also, play more scrabble.

I knew there was a career field for me: Bubbleologist

--

--

"London, July 31, 2009--In London's Findbury Park "bubbleologist" Sam Heath—that's Samsam Bubbleman to you—creates what may be the largest free-floating soap bubble in history. The previous largest known bubble, according to Guinness World Records, measured 105.4 cubic feet (3 cubic meters).

Heath is sure he's burst that record, set in Minnesota, though Guinness has yet to formally recognized his feat. 'This one," he told Britain's Telegraph newspaper, "dwarfs the American effort.'"

Cha Blasco

--

--

I have not been a fan of double exposure in the past, however Spanish photographer, Cha Blasco, has an extraordinarily beautiful set of photographs massing his portfolio. Each image is breathes its own obscurity; illustrative and phantasmal tales of Spanish sub culture. A great contributor to the lomo-sphere of the photography world, Cha Blasco shoots mainly with variations of the Holga camera model; a form of photography characterized by its deterrence to the technicalities and aesthetics of traditional shooting.

Please visit his site and leave a kind comment. :)

Tender Forever

--

--

I am endlessly, endlessly enamored with K Records' artist Tender Forever. Headed by Melanie Valera, the music is a Franco-American force, underlining Melanie's insatiable vigor, with soft pop femininity and tremendous energy. Embarking on her own in 2003, Melanie started the Tender Forever project armed with nothing more than a "laptop, a long mic cord and almost too much enthusiasm". Since then, she has put out two records- The Soft and the Hardcore and Wider.

"Tender Forever is the biggest, softest sound you've heard. It's a kick drum in an empty warehouse while little kids play right outside."
-K Records

K Records also houses other familiars such as Julie Doiron, Kimya Dawson, Mahjongg, Modest Mouse, Tender Trap, and Mirah.
